​Ellie Goodliffe is a microbiologist, brewer, and contemporary artist whose work explores the tension between biological precision and fluid chaos.

​My practice is rooted in the unseen world. With a professional background in microbiology and the fermentation sciences, I view the world through a lens of growth, decay, and microscopic architecture. Where the lab seeks to categories and control, my art seeks to feel.

​I specialize in "Sci-Art"—a fusion of clinical observation and raw expression. Using diverse media—from the unpredictable blooms of alcohol inks, fluid acrylic pour to the literal cultivation of bacteria and yeasts in my Agar Collection.
